Inspired by the beautiful day we have here in New England, I am here to be your guide for dressing for the beach. Bikinis can go one of three ways: cute, horrible, or horrible beyond repair. Caution: Ladies I find it mindblowing that the female race has yet to accept that bikinis are not, I repeat not for every body type. Of course that doesn’t mean I’m putting down the heavier women, but bikinis (in my opinion) look best on the trim, skinny girls out there. 

So, this beach season, why not take inspiration from the Nanette Lepore Runway pic (above) and try a cute retro cut floral suit? This look is absolutely cute as a button and so in right now. As seen on Taylor Swift, this style is beach perfect and without the risk of your bikini bottom ties coming undone (and we’ve all been there..ugh) 

Pair with heart shaped sunnies, wedges and a linen cover up and you’re set!
