For a garden party or a summer wedding, go super sweet with pastels and a flow-y floral dress. Mint and icey pink are HUGE this season so why not don them in your accessories? Sweet retro hair and a gorgeous pair of earrings tie together the look.
Book Review:
After flipping through my friend’s copy of Lauren Conrad’s Style, I promptly got in the car, and drove to the closest Barnes & Nobles to purchase my own. I was surprised at how gracefully Lauren has transitioned from teen reality star into a woman and designer in her own right. This book simply explains wardrobe basics, outfit ideas for different occasions and how-to beauty, step by step. She is stunning in a refined way and I would recommend this book to anybody who wants to step up their style game. I can’t wait for her beauty book to come out in October!
I’d be more than willing to help anyone seeking style advice, anon or not, feel free to message me!

Since it’s the summer months I’ve been thinking about travel a lot. No, I (unfortunately) will be staying at home for these 8 weeks, but dreaming of the perfect outfit to wear for a red eye flight has occupied my mind. Bring a scarf that can double as a blanket, smother eye cream on before you take off, headphones are perfect for getting a good sleep, and leggings are comfy and chic. Wearing layers ensures you can reach the perfect temperature by either removing clothing or adding. Bon Voyage!

Date Night
Now while classy girl is usually partial to ladylike chic, I’ve decided it would be fun to show an edgy look, this one reserved for a date night or outing. Black, leather and chains vamp up this cool girl look. This is perfect for going to a restaurant or into the city.

Beach Day vs. City Outing
So ladies, I know I’ve been M.I.A. for a while- lots of work and finals for school! But Summer is upon is, and I was thinking of ways to chic up these classic summer activities.
Beach day- girls, please leave your ratty denim cutoffs and tanks at home (and absolutely zero 2 for $5 Old Navy flip flops!) and upgrade to a chic Calypso St. Barth moroccan inspired tunic— easy, breezy, and so chic over your bandeau (read:flattering!) bikini. Add some espadrilles, a rafia tote, and an Emilio Pucci towel. Cool of with my drink of choice: Bubble tea!
City Outing: One of my favorite ways to spend a beautiful sunny summer day is to go out shopping on Newbury Street in Boston. I injected this outfit with some serious uptown flare with a toile-inspired dress and a comfy yet chic Madewell wedges. The contrasting yet complimenting colors step up this outfit. Some unique sunnies and classy Chanel baby-pink bag and you’ll be turning heads all over the city. What will I be drinking? Starbucks Passion Tea Lemonade, of course!
Sorry I haven’t been posting, ladies. I had a fitting for a runway show the other day and have been so exhausted.
Taylor Swift spotted in a chic striped day dress. Keep the standard navy stripes on trend by adding a pop of red-perfect suede Rupert Sanderson heels. A Marc by Marc bag is roomy yet functional with a shoulder strap. Top it off with Ray Ban sunglasses and you’re ready for a day spent strolling in the city.
